Kuala Lumpur, August 22, 2025 — Five aerospace engineering students from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), Paris, have successfully completed their two-month internship at the Aerospace Innovation Centre (AIC), Universiti Malaya, marked by an exit seminar showcasing their work.
During the seminar, the interns presented projects covering drone-based inspection, welding strategies for aerospace structures, hydrogen technology applications, and robotic transportation systems for MRO logistics. Their work was guided by University Malaya's academics, combining hands-on research with insights into industry needs.
Earlier in their programme, the group also had the opportunity to visit Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MABES) MRO facilities, where they observed large-scale aircraft maintenance operations, an experience that informed their technical explorations at AIC.
AIC congratulates the interns for their dedication and contributions, and looks forward to further collaborations with CNAM Paris in advancing aerospace innovation and training.
